Mission:

The Shelby County Schools Education Foundation exists to support, enhance, and recognize excellence in education.

• — We support excellence in education through special programs, including: Professional Development Support, National Board Certification, Career and Technical Education Program, and Healthy Schools Initiative.
• — We enhance excellence in education through grant programs available to teachers, departments, and students.
• — We recognize excellence in education through our Teacher of the Year Celebration, and our Annual Showcase of Schools.

We believe that public education is at the heart of a thriving community,and funding beyond the level of government resources is essential for top quality public schools.
